The time is always right to do what is right.

I remember learning about the Civil Rights Movement when I was in elementary school. It confused me. I did not understand why.

Why were these people that were just like me treated so horribly? We all look different, so what made their differences - different?

As I have become older, I am still confused. I try to rationalize it, I try to understand perspective, but I cannot. So today, as we honor Martin Luther King, Jr, I thank this man for his perspective, his strength, and his wisdom. He was, and will continue to be a leader and a teacher for all of us - those who are confused and those who create the confusion.
