What a sad end to a tumultuous 2016. Carrie Fisher was not only a cultural icon; she inspired women to stand up against societal chains, she encouraged open discussions about mental health, and continually acted with authenticity. She was someone to look up to and whose words we should remember and live by.
How prophetic that she drowned in moonlight, strangled by her own own bra (Carrie Fisher, "Wishful Drinking"). Rest In Paradise.
