Ch-ch-ch Changes

Mike and are I trying to finalize our flights to India. It is proving to be a challenge since we are using two different mileage programs. (Like I said in a past post, I will detail all that in the future.) So I was plunking around on the internet this morning, checking out various dates and options. I decided to double check some information on the actual Rickshaw Run so I, fortuitously, went to The Adventurist's site. There I found that our finish point has changed - changed to an unknown destination in NE India. I took the map below from www.traveloearth.com so you can see the expansive size of Northeast India. Just to remind you, the end point that was previously set forth was Shillong which is located in the state of Meghalaya (shown in bright blue on the map).

Thank you Rickshaw Run for forcing me not to plan! I am actually excited about this change. I wonder if the destination will be reveled prior to our arrival in India? What a fun wrinkle. I really cannot wait to see what the next nine months bring!
