Life Choices:

When Mike and I talk about things we have done and things we are planning to do the most common responses are:
1.) "That sounds so fun!"
2.) "You guys are crazy!"
3.) "I wish I could do that..."
Here is what I want to tell all of you:
1.) It is {usually} fun. It is also stressful, tiring, and scary. Most importantly it is character building. And it is ALWAYS worth it, always.
2.) We really are not crazy.
crazy
adjective
cra·zy \ˈkrā-zē\
1. a: full of cracks or flaws
b. crooked, askew
2. a. mad, insane
b. (1.) impractical
(2.) erratic
Think about that for a minute. Think about being told your choices are full of flaws, or that you are impractical.
Burn.
My life's mantra is: "What's the point of living, if you aren't living." I would much rather look back on my life as a series of physical and emotional journeys than look back at a life full of what-ifs and should haves. If that makes me crazy, then I guess I want to be crazy.
3. YOU CAN! The only thing holding you back is you and your excuses. It is not money, work, age, or expectations, it is you. Yes, it means making sacrifices. Just remember, you get to decide what your priorities in life are - period. Part of my goal with this blog is to share with everyone how Mike and I are able to do our adventures, but also to encourage everyone to, every so often, step outside their comfort zone.
